Terms & conditions are valid from the first session and an agreement form will be sent in advance for you to sign and return. You will be notified of any changes to the terms & conditions. Confirmation of continuation of tutoring sessions is acceptance of any notified changes.

Payment & Timetabling

Invoices will be issued monthly and in advance via your confirmed email address

Payments to be made by bank transfer

If no payment has been made ahead of the date and time of the first scheduled session of the month, no tuition will take place until payment has been received

Sessions are scheduled alongside your confirmed local authority (LA) term dates

Un-arranged Absences (such as sickness) and Arranged Absences (such as holiday)

You must notify the tutor of absence as soon as possible

Absence during term time or pre-arranged school holiday dates will still be charged for, but the session will be rescheduled subject to availability

School holidays and Bank Holidays are optional and an invoice will be issued in advance of pre-arranged sessions

In the event of tutor sickness, you will be notified and the session will be rescheduled or credited to the next invoice if a reschedule is not possible

Where a student does not log on for their scheduled session, I will:

• email/text 5-10 minutes into the session
• I will wait in the meeting for 15 minutes before terminating the session
• If the student joins the session late, the session will still end at the allotted time so as not to impact following sessions

Additional Information

The day and/or time of your session may change, but does not effect the terms & conditions of the agreement

It is your responsibility to arrive for the session on time and for the equipment you use (computer, internet connection etc.)

A responsible adult should be within a reasonable distance of any student under the age of 18 during their online tutoring session

if the parent/guardian requires session feedback, this must be done within the allocated session time slot and the tutor notified at the beginning of the session to allow time for this

Separate appointments can also be arrange, but may incur an additional charge

Notice period required is four weeks by either party
